VIDEO: House impeachment inquiry of President Trump continues

Lawmakers on Capitol Hill heard from former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, who was ousted in May at President Donald Trump’s direction, on Friday.

The House launched the first public hearing of the impeachment inquiry into Trump on Wednesday. Top diplomat William Taylor, the charge d’affaires in Kyiv, and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent testified despite White House instructions not to appear.

The House intelligence committee will continue public hearings from witnesses over the next week.
