The Washington Commanders defense is off to a disappointing start to the season — and now the first-place Philadelphia Eagles come into FedEx Field flying high off an impressive 2-0 start sparked by the NFL’s top-ranked offense. Will the Burgundy and Gold defense be a season-long issue or will it eventually live up to expectations in 2022 (or at least rally in time to make Carson Wentz a winner in his first meeting against the team that drafted him)?

Speaking of Wentz … Washington reportedly passed up Jimmy Garoppolo at the last minute so did the Commanders end up with the better option at QB? And, we have a bold prediction for Maryland’s big matchup with Michigan on Saturday.
