Juan Soto was the star of the All-Star festivities in Los Angeles, first for the trade rumors swirling around him in Washington and then for his display of power in the Home Run Derby. Can the Nationals find a way to keep him in D.C. or was that home run title Soto’s final gift to Nats fans — like it was for Bryce Harper in 2018? If so, which destination makes the most sense for Soto and the Nationals?
