WATCH: Fairfax Co. woman disappeared after ‘goodbye dinner’ with ex-boyfriend

Court documents showed that Hannah Choi — the Fairfax County, Virginia, woman whose remains were found at a Maryland park — had dinner with her former boyfriend on the night that she disappeared.

According to NBC Washington, which first reported the story, Choi and Joel Mosso Merino, 27, went to a restaurant on March 5 for a “goodbye dinner.” A friend staying with her saw the leftovers from the restaurant, but Choi was not there.

Merino’s nephew told police that Merino said he killed Choi during an argument at her house after dinner. Merino allegedly claimed he pushed Choi and then she fell, hit her head and stopped breathing, NBC Washington reported.

There is a reward of $40,000 for information leading to the whereabouts and arrest of Merino.
