MGM National Harbor shows off changes ahead of Monday reopening

If you plan to go to MGM National Harbor when it reopens Monday, bring a mask, and a fully charged cellphone.

MGM gave a tour Thursday of some of the changes it’s made as it slowly reopens amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“We want to keep these health and safety pieces top of mind for everybody as you’re walking through the property,” said Anthony Caratozzolo, vice president of hospitality for MGM.

Everything is being sanitized from the card shufflers to the poker chips.

You’ll see lots of Plexiglass and fewer slot machines open as part of the effort to social distance.

You will need to download the MGM resorts app for QR codes for the restaurants and virtual keys to hotel rooms.
