WATCH: Civil rights icon John Lewis lies in state on Capitol steps

Events to honor the late Georgia congressman and civil rights icon John Lewis continue at the U.S. Capitol following a service in the building’s Rotunda.

Given COVID-19 precautions, Lewis lies in state at the top of the East Front Steps of the U.S. Capitol, as the public file past on the East Plaza.

The viewing lasts until 10 p.m. Tuesday.
