Areas of fog will develop overnight allowing for potential travel delays Wednesday morning. Low temperatures will range from the middle 50s in the mountains to lower 60s in the District. Skies will gradually clear Wednesday as temperatures warm to the middle 70s. Sunshine returns Thursday followed by a strong cold front Friday. The first weekend of October will have an autumnal feel with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s.
