Strong storms could sweep through the region Tuesday night, bringing gusty winds and the threat of power outages. Severe Thunderstorm Watch continues for St. Mary’s and Calvert counties in Maryland until 9 p.m. The watch is no longer in effect for the rest of the WTOP listening area.
