DC police ID woman fatally stabbed while jogging near Logan Circle
Police in D.C. say the woman stabbed in Logan Circle Tuesday was an avid runner out jogging when she was attacked shortly before 8 p.m. near 11th and O Streets Northwest. During a news conference Wednesday afternoon, D.C. Police Chief Peter Newsham identified the woman as 35-year-old Wendy Karina Martinez, of Northwest D.C.
