Mother charged with neglect after baby found along Md. road

A local resident called police late Saturday after finding an infant in a car seat on the side of the road. The baby's mother, a 26-year-old Baltimore resident, is now facing charges of child neglect and reckless endangerment. Police say the investigation is ongoing, with the child in the care of Social Services.
