Teddy Gelman became Morning Drive Producer in February 2020. Prior to that, he worked as a weekend producer and an assistant producer after joining WTOP in 2018.

Teddy graduated from the University of Delaware and served as sports director for the University radio station, WVUD, and editor for the student-run newspaper, The Review. He was inducted into the WVUD Hall of Fame in 2024. 

Teddy grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and went to Quince Orchard High School where, since 2021, he’s been Public Address Announcer for home football games.
