Joslyn Chesson was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. She graduated in May 2017 from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, where she studied Media Studies and Spanish Language. She wrote for the Life section of the student-run newspaper, the “Cavalier Daily” for all four years of college.

During her time at the University of Virginia, she participated in the Study Abroad program in Auckland, New Zealand. She enjoyed hiking and exploring for six months Down Under!

In the summer of 2017, she worked as a production intern at CBS News in Washington working for “CBS This Morning.”

She has run three marathons, including the Boston Marathon, and hopes to run more. Joslyn loves reading, running, hiking and vineyards (She was spoiled by the wine in New Zealand!)
