WTOP’s Brennan Haselton is joined by Neighborhood Restaurant Group Beer Director and Food and Wine Sommelier of the Year Greg Engert to talk about 3 Stars Grand Cru Belgian Strong Ale for the latest edition of WTOP’s Beer of the Week.

Quick Facts:

  • Brewery: 3 Stars Brewing Company, Washington, D.C.
Description: Grand Cru is a Belgian strong ale aged two years in sherry barrels that once housed whiskey made by One Eight Distilling in D.C.
  • ABV: 13.3 percent

dark meat from the Thanksgiving turkey (and all the fixings); Greek cuisine; and falafel
