WASHINGTON — There are many things we can live without, but — for some of us — beer is not one of them.

WTOP’s Brennan Haselton is joined by Neighborhood Restaurant Group Beer Director and Food and Wine Sommelier of the Year Greg Engert to talk about Crooked Run Without You IPA for the latest edition of WTOP’s Beer of the Week.

Brewery Description: A double dry-hopped IPA with Ekuanot and Lemondrop hops.
ABV: 6.5 percent
Greg’s pairing suggestions: Ceviche; meatier fish such as tuna, salmon and swordfish; red-sauce dishes; Greek salad and souvlaki; Middle Eastern foods such as hummus and falafel.
