WTOP’s Brennan Haselton is joined by Neighborhood Restaurant Group beer director and James Beard Award nominee Greg Engert to talk about The Veil Swimming Poolz Triple IPA for the latest edition of WTOP’s Beer of the Week.

Description: The Veil brewed this massive triple IPA with Denmark’s Dry & Bitter Brewing Co. The recipe includes lactose, which contributes a full-mouth feel and some velvety residual sweetness.
ABV: 11.5 percent
Greg’s pairing suggestions: Meatier fish (e.g., tuna, salmon and mahi mahi); oily fish (e.g., mackerel and trout); holiday ham; and roasted beets
