Beer of the Week: Prairie Artisan Ales Christmas Bomb Imperial Stout

WASHINGTON — It’s not just the bomb. It’s the Christmas Bomb!

WTOP’s Brennan Haselton is joined by Neighborhood Restaurant Group Beer Director and James Beard Award nominee Greg Engert to talk about Prairie Christmas Bomb Imperial Stout for the latest edition of WTOP’s Beer of the Week.

Brewery: Prairie Artisan Ales, Tulsa, Oklahoma
Description: Imperial stout aged with cinnamon, coffee, chocolate, vanilla and chilies.
ABV: 13 percent

Greg’s pairing suggestions: Savory meats, such as lamb, duck, steak, short ribs (with winter vegetables, such as Brussels sprouts and butternut squash), braised pork shoulder, thick Ramen noodles with pork, desserts
