Glynis Kazanjian has worked as a freelance writer covering Maryland politics and government on the local, state and federal levels for the last 11 years. Her work has been published with Maryland Matters, the Baltimore Post Examiner, Bethesda Beat, the Montgomery County Sentinel, Patch.com and Maryland Reporter, in addition to a number of statewide and national publications. Her work focuses largely on investigative journalism, including transparency and accountability in government and politics. Recently, the ACLU of Maryland featured Kazanjian’s work in a lawsuit involving an officer-involved death on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Kazanjian has also worked as a true crime researcher for television production companies Sirens and Story House Productions.
