WASHINGTON — If you didn’t get your fill of sandy beaches, city skyscrapers and relaxing resorts this summer, now’s your chance to squeeze in one last getaway.

Thanks to factors such as industry consolidation, falling oil prices and growing competition from budget brands, airfares are at a seven-year low.

Flexible travelers can find one-way deals for as low as $49 from airlines such as Southwest and JetBlue, but the savings aren’t limited to last-minute trips and off-peak days. Even those who can only swing a weekend escape can jet-set for a fraction of the usual cost.

Dust off your duffel bag and grab your passport: Here are some of the best round-trip deals taking off from Reagan National Airport (DCA), BWI Marshall Airport (BWI) and Dulles International Airport (IAD) on Friday, Aug. 12, and landing Sunday, Aug. 14.

Note: As flights book up, these deals may no longer be available or may have changed since the time researched.
