Police said they are still trying to find George, who was last seen by roommates at around 4 p.m. Thursday.

Sgt. Rosanne Hoaas said officers are following leads and looking into all possibilities, including the possibility that George left campus on her own accord.

Police say she was seen on security footage leaving a dorm hall at around 4:40 p.m. with a camping style backpack and a pink bag.  Minutes later, she could be seen getting into a white taxi cab on her own.

Detectives found and talked to that taxi driver.

They learned that she was dropped off in front of a marina in the Federal Hill neighborhood in Baltimore.

Investigators found security camera footage of her getting out of the taxi there and then get into an awaiting SUV on her own accord.

A witness told police they saw George on a Charm City Circulator bus at around 8:40 a.m. the next day.  Police say they have verified that sighting.

University of Maryland police say investigators will continue working on the case until they find Kaitlyn and know she is OK.

George is 21 years old, white, 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. She has hazel eyes and blond hair.

When she was last seen, she was wearing a green long-sleeved jacket, black leggings and bright, midcalf socks.

Anyone with information is urged to call university police at 301-405-3555.
