In tweets, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesman Pete Piringer says part of the home has collapsed as the fire consumed the attic and roof.
No one has been injured.
According to Piringer, a news helicopter had to make an emergency landing not far from the site of the house fire. The helicopter landed as a precaution.
