Cruise the Potomac River in a Bugatti or Mercedes — the Jet Ski version

Out on the Potomac with the DMV's newest luxury watercraft

Summer travel traffic is a drag. If only there was some other way to get around …

In today’s episode of “Matt About Town,” WTOP’s Matt Kaufax left the commute behind to drive top-of-the-line sports cars on the open water in Virginia!

Join Matt as he heads out to the Hampton’s Landing Marina in Woodbridge and spends the afternoon with District Exotic Jetcars, a new company bringing the best of luxury — in Jet Ski form — to the Potomac River.

Whether you’re looking to get behind the wheel of a Barbie-themed Bugatti, a silver Mercedes, a red McLaren or any other car in its fleet, this company is making a splash in the D.C. area this summer.

Matt stepped into the driver’s seat and got a firsthand look at what it’s like to take one of these exotic Jet Skis out for a spin. It’s a story that’ll make you want to floor it down to the pier and try it out for yourself!

“Matt About Town” airs every Tuesday and Thursday on WTOP at 7:45 a.m., and runs throughout the rest of the day on 103.5 FM. His video pieces are always posted on wtop.com.
