Virginia couples tie the knot amid blizzard (Video)

WASHINGTON — While most D.C.-area residents cuddled up near a fireplace Friday awaiting Winter Storm Jonas, two Virginia couples tied the knot.

Jessica and Brian Clough from McLean, Va. planned to get married on Saturday at 4:30 p.m., but with the blizzard underway, decided to reschedule their wedding to Friday at 1 p.m.  According to NBC Washington, it was already snowing when the wedding guests arrived.

The Cloughs told NBC Washington they were determined not to let a blizzard keep them from their wedding bliss.

Unlike the Cloughs, Kaitlyn and Tyler Zagurski from Alexandria, Va. said they were hoping for a white wedding.

The Zagurskis exchanged vows Friday afternoon at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Alexandria, Va., according to FOX 5. They then took their wedding party into the snow for pictures.
