Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ premieres Sunday

WASHINGTON — The ladies of Potomac, Maryland will be making their debut on Bravo Sunday night.

The “Real Housewives of Potomac” will follow Ashley Darby, Christine Jackson Jordan, Karen Huger, Katie Rost, Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon. The show features the drama of their families and social circles in Montgomery County.

Dixon is the ex-wife of former NBA star Juan Dixon, and former head of National Basketball Wives Association.  Bryant is the ex-wife of the popular Baltimore pastor, Jamal Harrison Bryant.

According to Bravo’s bios of the other women, Darby is a restaurateur, Jordan is a “social butterfly,” Huger is a “grand dame” and Rost is an international model and TV personality.

The median household income in Potomac is more than $178,000, according to U.S. Census data collected between 2009 and 2013.

This isn’t the first time women of the D.C. area have been featured on the franchise. “The Real Housewives of D.C.” aired in August 2010. It was canceled after just one season.

“The Real Housewives of Potomac” premieres Sunday at 9/8c.
