Police: Missing baby found safe, unharmed in Woodbridge

WASHINGTON — A missing baby was found safe and unharmed Sunday, days after being taken by man involved in a  domestic dispute with the child’s mother, Prince William County police said.

Zion LeBron Favors, who is 3 months old, was found at a residence in Woodbridge, Virginia at around 3:45 p.m.  Russell Carnell Walker, the man facing abduction charges, was arrested Sunday without incident at residence nearby.

Zion was first reported missing Thursday afternoon. The baby’s 22-year-old mother, a resident of New Mexico,  told police that she got into a fight with Walker, 44, at a Motel 6 near Dumfries, Virginia. She claimed Walker assaulted her and left with the child.

Walker, who is not Zion’s father, also faces charges for assault, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
