On July 16, Prince George’s County police responded to the 6200 block of 60th Avenue in Riverdale for a welfare check when they found a man in the roadway. He was pronounced dead a short time later at the hospital.

An autopsy revealed the man died from multiple injuries with an unknown cause, police said Tuesday. Police ruled the man’s death a homicide.

The victim is described as a Hispanic man between 35 and 40 years old. Police want to identify the man so they can notify his family.

Police say they are working to identify suspects and a motive in the case, too.

Investigators will canvass the neighborhood Tuesday at 7 p.m. in hopes of gathering more information in the case.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Anyone with information can call police at 301-772-4925.

Below is a map near the location where the man was found and where police will canvass Tuesday evening.
