Around 1 p.m. on April 5, an ILORI employee became suspicious of two men walking around and trying on several pairs of glasses in the store, located at 5530 Western Ave. When the employee started recording the men on his cellphone, one of the suspects noticed and threatened to assault the employee, according to police. The two men then stole several pairs of eyeglasses from a display case and fled the store.

The items they stole had a value of $7,000, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information about the robbery can call the Major Crimes Division — Robbery Section at 240-773-5100.
