Google has released its latest list of the most searched Christmas cookies by state.
Looking at the numbers, gingerbread came out on top in seven states and D.C. In Maryland, German Christmas cookies were all the rave on Google, and Virginians had a taste for Christmas Bar Cookies.
International-style cookies dominated on the East Coast with a lot of curious bakers searching for Italian Christmas cookies.
Peanut butter blossoms and sugar cookies were among the most popular across the nation. You’ll find desserts on 61% of all Christmas shopping lists, according to a Numerator survey, so whether you bake, buy or eat someone else’s cookies, you really can’t go wrong.
