WASHINGTON –Pop performer Kelly Clarkson has announced the cancellation of several upcoming tour dates, including two performances at Wolf Trap tonight and Sunday, according to a release Saturday.
A statement by Clarkson and her tour said doctors urged her to rest her voice:
Due to instruction by several doctors, Kelly Clarkson must unfortunately cancel scheduled tour dates in Vienna, VA (9/12 & 9/13), Tampa, FL (9/15), West Palm Beach, FL (9/17), Raleigh, NC (9/19) & Camden, NJ (9/20). All tickets will be refunded at the original point of purchase.
Ms. Clarkson stated: “So bummed that I have to cancel some of my tour dates. This kills me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice! I can’t wait to get healthy and see y’all back on the road soon.”
Wolf Trap said Saturday that ticket holders for the show can get refunds. They will be automatically processed over the next the weeks.. For more information on refunds, visit the Wolf Trap website.
