WASHINGTON — A free car wash, free admission to Mt. Vernon, a free oil change and free food: They’re all being offered this Veterans Day.
The offers listed here are for veterans and active duty military on Nov. 11 only, unless otherwise noted.

- Car washes: Through Grace For Vets, many car washes offer free washes
- Maryland State Parks: Veterans enter all state parks for free
- Meineke: Free basic oil change
- Monkey’s Joe’s Germantown: Free admission for children of active duty or retired members of the military
- Mt. Vernon: Free admission
- National Parks: Admission is free for everyone at all national parks in honor of veterans
- Virginia State Parks: Parking fees are waived for veterans
- Gadsby’s Tavern: Free tours for everyone from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in honor of veterans
- Paragon Theaters: Free small popcorn for all veterans and family members

- Bob Evans: Free breakfast item available all day
- Bonefish Grill: Free Bang Bang Shrimp
- Bruegger’s: Free small drip coffee
- Buffalo Wild Wings: Free small traditional or boneless wings and a side of fries
- Cheeseburger in Paradise: Free Veterans Burger with fries
- Chili’s: Free entree from a select menu
- Chipotle: From 3 p.m. to close, buy one get one free burritos (or other entree) for all active duty military, military spouses and veterans
- Cracker Barrel: Free slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake
- Denny’s: From 5 a.m. to noon, get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam
- Dickey’s Barbecue Pit: Free sandwich, side and a Big Yellow Cup, up to a $12 total value. Plus anyone dining with a veteran gets a free Big Yellow Cup with purchase
- District Doughnut: Free small hot coffee with any doughnut purchase.
- Famous Dave’s: Free Two Meat Combo
- Friday’s is providing a free lunch, up to $12, between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for all vets and active duty military with a military ID.
- Friendly’s: Free breakfast, lunch or dinner
- Glory Days Grill: Choose either a free appetizer or a free regular order of traditional or boneless wings
- Golden Corral: On Nov. 14 only, enjoy a free Thank You Meal from 5-9 p.m.
- Hooters: Free entree from their Veterans Day Menu

- IKEA in College Park and Woodbridge: Nov. 7-11, get a free entree
