Snowfall in the D.C. region is transitioning to freezing rain and making for treacherous road conditions Sunday night and Monday morning.

Even though the third winter storm of the year is creating particularly nasty road conditions late Sunday, snow lovers had plenty of wintry scenes to enjoy beforehand.
