There’s still no word on a possible sale of the team, but there’s one thing Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder is looking to offload now: His Potomac, Maryland, mansion.
The five-bedroom, 30,000-square-foot mansion, which sits on 15.2 acres with views of the Potomac River, is going on the market for $49 million, according to TTR Sotheby’s International Realty.
That’s the same price the home was listed at in 2018, when the Snyders sought to sell the palatial estate, apparently unsuccessfully.
Snyder reportedly bought the home in 2000 from the estate of Jordan’s King Hussein and Queen Noor, paying just over $8.6 million.
Last year, Snyder bought another Potomac riverfront mansion — this one near George Washington’s Mount Vernon in Virginia — for $48 million.
