PHOTOS: Commanders owner Dan Snyder’s new $48 million riverfront home

Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder has purchased a Potomac riverfront mansion for a whopping $48 million in cash.

The Washington Business Journal reports Snyder’s newly-acquired River View, located at 7979 E. Boulevard Drive near George Washington’s Mount Vernon, is the most expensive home ever sold in the D.C. region.

Rumors had long named Snyder as the suspected buyer — a contribution he made last month to Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s inaugural committee listed River View as his home address. Snyder’s purchase of the 16.5-acre property was recently confirmed in public records.

River View offers a 16,000-square-foot main home with seven bedrooms and eight full baths. It also includes a library, gym, 15-seat home theater, and a spa with accompanying pool, steam and sauna rooms.
