Fairfax Co. students plant flags to honor Memorial Day

Students at George C. Marshall High School, in Fairfax County, Virginia, marked Memorial Day by planting 400 flags in front of their school.

Setting up the flags happens twice a year — Veterans Day and Memorial Day.

Marshall High has a student club called the Military Youth Liaison Club that makes sure flags are ready.

The club says the goal is to honor members of the military past and present.
