PHOTOS: Thousands march against Trump, Musk at DC’s ‘Hands Off!’ rally

Thousands rallied on the National Mall in D.C. Saturday against President Donald Trump and his advisor, Tesla CEO and Department of Government Efficiency head Elon Musk.

The National Mall demonstration was the flagship event anchoring a national day of action called “Hands Off!” — coalitions including civil rights organizations, labor unions, LBGTQ+ advocates, veterans and elections activists have organized more than 1,200 same-day “Hands Off!” demonstrations in cities across the country. The Hands Off! effort is “a nationwide mobilization to stop the most brazen power grab in modern history,” according to the organization’s website.

In addition to the National Mall, demonstrators in D.C. had been spotted demonstrating outside federal buildings, including USAID offices and the Ronald Reagan Building.
