WASHINGTON — A blaze broke out in a house in Fairfax County Saturday causing devastating damage.
It happened on the 11900 block of Grey Squirrel Lane in Reston around 9 p.m.
Fairfax County firefighters arrived and found heavy fire in the rear extending into the interior of the house.
A Fairfax County Fire and Rescue spokesman said there were people in the house when the fire broke out but they had self-evacuated by the time firefighters arrived.

The fire marshal’s office is investigating the origin and cause of the fire.
