Police searching for suspect in Fairfax Co. shooting

WASHINGTON — Fairfax County police are searching for the suspect involved in a shooting at Bailey’s Crossroads on Sunday that left one man in critical condition.

The victim was shot in the upper body and taken to the hospital with injuries that are life threatening.

The shooting took place around 2:15 a.m. at the 5800 block of Columbia Pike at the Palenque restaurant.

The suspect was described as a black man between 25 to 30-years-old, with a thin build, wearing blue jeans and a black shirt, according to a news release from the Fairfax County Police Department.
