Missing DC man found dead in Prince George’s Co.

WASHINGTON — A D.C. man who had been missing since April 2017 was found dead in Prince George’s County, and police are calling his death a homicide.

Marty William McMillan Jr., 22, had last been seen in Southeast D.C. on April 23, 2017. On Oct. 30, the United States Park Police found human remains along Suitland Parkway, in Prince George’s County. The remains were later identified as McMillan, the D.C. police said.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore said the cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds and ruled that the death was a homicide, D.C. police said Thursday.

D.C. police said its premlinary investigation suggestions the homicide happened within the District.

McMillan disappeared after he left home to meet a woman he met on the dating website Plenty of Fish, WTOP’s news partners at NBC Washington reported.
