WASHINGTON — A Silver Alert was issued late Tuesday for a 74-year-old man who hasn’t been seen for more than a week.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, George Ricks was last seen June 21 in the 2700 block of Wade Road in Southeast Washington.
Ricks is described as a black man standing 5-feet-9-inches tall, weighing 140 to 145 pounds, with brown eyes, gray hair, a gray beard and a medium brown complexion. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans, black boots and blue jean hat. Police say Ricks walks with a limp and may be in need of medical attention.
