Luke Lukert has worked at WTOP since 2019. Before moving to the District, he called Georgia home. He worked at a small group of radio stations outside of Atlanta, Georgia, where he was a morning show host, reporter and news anchor.

Since joining WTOP he has held just about every job in the newsroom from producer to web writer and even a five minute stint as an anchor when the station was experiencing some technical difficulties. He is now a full-time reporter.

In his free time he enjoys boxing, skiing, hunting and rooting for his alma mater, the University of Georgia, on the football field. Go Dawgs!
