In reality, this handsome boy is a 1.5-year-old Chow mix who can’t wait for a forever home of his own! Walnut is pretty much the perfect dog: friendly with people and dogs, playful, and very affectionate. He’ll happily share his toys with you and then dive into your lap for some snuggling. Currently, Valentino acts healthy and happy, if a bit bored by his seclusion in his Kitty City tower condo. He’s a smart, fun-loving boy who is finding unique ways to entertain himself, including playing with his water bowl. But what we really wants is a loving home in which to explore, either as an only cat or with other friendly FeLV-positive felines. Could that be yours? Stop by the Washington Humane Society/Washington Animal Rescue League shelter at 71 Oglethorpe Street, NW, to meet this very special boy and find out. (Courtesy WARL)
