Chaia If you come across a long line of hungry people at the Dupont Circle FRESHFARM Market, chances are, you’re in the presence of Chaia’s die-hard fans. The farm-to-taco business cooks up a seasonally rotating menu of vegetarian tacos, served in handmade corn tortillas. And on Sundays, Chaia offers breakfast tacos with fried or scrambled farm-fresh eggs — perfect for breakfast, brunch or lunch. (Courtesy Chaia Facebook)
Pinch  Starting May 31, Pinch will bring its traditional Chinese dumplings to Dupont when it joins the Sunday FRESHFARM market as a pop-up. Expect a number of pork, lamb and chicken varieties, plus vegetarian and vegan dumpling offerings. Ingredients in the hand-rolled and hand-pinched dumplings are all sourced from local farmers. If you’re an early market shopper with breakfast on the mind, the spinach and egg dumpling is sure to please. (Courtesy Pinch Facebook)
Chris’ Marketplace  In the mood for a good crabcake but want to skip the white-tablecloth brunch? The folks at Chris’ Marketplace brings the freshest seafood to the Dupont farmers market, including crabcakes. Plus, don’t miss the stand’s meat and vegetable empanadas and soups. (WTOP/Rachel Nania)
The Red Zebra Pizza The folks at The Red Zebra haul a pizza oven to the Dupont market each Sunday and fill orders for wood-fired pizzas, topped with ingredients from local farmers. Don’t skip out on the breakfast pizza, made with surry sausage, sweet potatoes, cheddar cheese and an egg on top. (WTOP/Rachel Nania)
Soupergirl  Stock up on fresh and healthy soups for the week, or recharge with a bowl at the market. D.C.-based company Soupergirl makes seasonal soups and salads, using produce directly sourced from the market’s farmers. (Courtesy Facebook)
Straw Stick & Brick Delicatessen Pulled pork sandwiches are hard to resist anywhere, but they’re especially difficult to turn down at the Straw Stick & Brick stand at the Dupont farmers market. Each week, the Georgia Avenue shop brings its finest cured meats, sausages and barbecue to the market. Grab a sandwich and eat as you shop or relax with your lunch on the lawn. (Courtesy Facebook)
Pastries and Breads  Of course, it’s not difficult to find a number of great stands serving freshly made breads, pastries and sweets, but make sure you get to the market early before the baked goods sell out. Looking for a fresh loaf perfect for a picnic? Swing by Talking Beads for old world European breads. Craving something on the sweeter side? Baklava Couture comes to the market with a variety of baked goods, including baklava. (Courtesy Facebook)
Frozen Treats As the days get warmer, the demand for cool treats grows. Both Dolcezza and Pleasant Pops satisfy that demand every Sunday at the Dupont market. Dolcezza brings its gelato push-pops and Pleasant Pops sells its farmers market-inspired popsicles. (Courtesy Facebook)
