WASHINGTON — Washington Capitals fans who donate blood have a chance to win a pair of Stanley Cup Final tickets from Inova Blood Donor Services.

Those who donate over the next couple of days at specific Northern Virginia sites will be eligible to win a pair of tickets to either Saturday’s or Monday’s games at Capital One Arena in D.C.

“We are ready to be all in for the Stanley Cup Final,” said Heather Wade, manager of donor recruitment with Inova Blood Donor Services.

Donors who turn out Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a pair of tickets to Game 3 or 4. All donors will receive a rally towel. Donors can sign up at a number of locations, including Sterling, Annandale, Chantilly, Centreville, Fairfax and Alexandria.

“There is always a need year-round here in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area (for blood) but especially during the summer time,” Wade said.

Inova Blood Donor Services is the official blood collection agency of the Washington Capitals.

“We couldn’t be happier to ‘rock the red’ with the Washington Capitals,” Wade said.
