MARC to run trains after Stanley Cup Games 3 and 4

WASHINGTON – Maryland’s MARC train service will run extra trains to get Washington Capitals fans home after Games 3 and 4 of the Stanley Cup Final, WTOP has learned.

The additional trains on Saturday, June 2 and Monday, June 4 will leave Union Station one hour after the end of each night game, no matter what time the game ends.

The trains will make all stops along the Penn Line to Baltimore Penn Station. Regular MARC fares will apply.

This is the Caps’ first trip to the Stanley Cup Final since 1998. They currently trail the Las Vegas Golden Knights in the series 1-0.

In addition to Games 3 and 4, the Caps would also host a potential Game 6 on Sunday, June 10.

The Maryland Transit Administration told WTOP they would announce any train service plans for a potential Game 6 soon.
