WASHINGTON — Get out your corkscrews, Virginia: Virginia ABC stores will be selling certain wines at a discount this month.
In celebration of Virginia Wine Month this October, wines produced in Virginia will be 15 percent off at Virginia ABC’s 360 retail outlets, the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control said in a news release Friday.
While it is not new for Virginia ABC stores to hold tasting events, this month’s tastings will highlight wine produced in Virginia, the release said. Tastings will include red, white, rose and sparking wines.
