Lara DeSanto joined WTOP.com as a digital writer/editor in May 2016.

She also works as a digital editor for HealthCentral.com, writing about a variety of health topics. In the past, she served as the patient education editor at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and an editor/designer at IBISWorld.

Lara received her B.A. in writing from Ithaca College in 2012.
