FEBRUARY 14

- The Chinese New Year Parade in D.C. starts at 2 p.m. at 6th and Eye Sts. NW, and ends at 6th and H Sts. NW.
- Buy two entrees from their Valentine’s Day menu and get two free glasses of wine or champagne at FDB Eatery in Falls Church.

- Enjoy free admission and special events at Mount Vernon on President’s Day
- Alexandria’s George Washington Birthday Parade kicks off at 1 p.m., and several historic sites in the city are offering free admission on parade day.
