Updated 12/10/2016 10:40 a.m.: Metro officials say the Orange and Silver Lines are no longer single tracking, but delays continue in both directions due to an earlier train malfunction at Farragut West.
WASHINGTON — Metro riders are facing delays on three lines Saturday morning.
Due to reports of a cracked rail at Potomac Avenue, trains are single-tracking between Eastern Market and Stadium Armory stations, Metro said. The issue is causing delays on the Blue, Orange and Silver lines.
Crews are working to resolve the problem, but they are not yet sure when trains will resume running on a normal schedule.
