WASHINGTON — The search has ended for a dog that made it out the back door of a Stafford County animal hospital early Monday.
General, a Great Pyrenees, broke free after opening multiple doors at the Aquia-Garrisonville Animal Hospital in Stafford around 4 a.m. Surveillance video captures the escape artist nudging doors open, grabbing a door handle with his mouth and walking across an empty parking lot.

According to the animal hospital, the dog was found nearby. An animal control officer returned General back to the animal hospital.
