WASHINGTON — Police in Manassas Park, Virginia are asking for help identifying the suspect in a scam that defrauded at least one victim out of several thousand dollars.
The man claimed to be a psychic who could predict the winning numbers in the upcoming Powerball drawing on Oct. 25.
He used a third party app to communicate with the victim after the fake Powerball win. He also uses a fake Facebook profile with the name of Angel Cruz Oliviero as part of the scam, police said.
The suspect has a tattoo on the back of his neck and is about 6 feet tall with a stocky build.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call police at 703-361-1136.
