Va. professor charged with sexually attacking two students

WASHINGTON — An adjunct professor at Northern Virginia Community College has been charged with raping one female student, and sexually assaulting another.

On May 5, a student of 27-year-old Youssef Taleb told campus police that two days earlier he had assaulted her, when the two went into a conference room on the school’s Manassas campus to work on calculus problems.

The student reported that several weeks earlier, on March 22, Taleb had raped her in a classroom.

A second young woman, who does not know the first victim, also reported allegations against Taleb to police.

NBC Washington reported the details were provided in a search warrant affidavit filed in Fairfax County,  where Taleb lives.

During a search of Taleb’s home, Prince William County police recovered clothing, a cellphone, documents and photos, according to NBC 4.

Taleb is charged with two felonies — rape and object sexual penetration — as well as two misdemeanor counts of sexual battery.

Taleb has been fired from his position with NVCC.
